A VERY important note about upcoming
PDF LESSONS and WORKSHOPS!!!
This page has gotten a lot of hits and I really DO appreciate so
many of you coming back to look to see what's new. Let me explain
what is going on and what will be coming up so that you are on the
same page as I am :) Currently I run two business' fulltime, one a
picture framing business. I also monitor four websites with blogs
and boards so I'm kept pretty busy. (sorry, they don't make money,
lol, they are pro bono) And the classes are done on the side when I
have time. They are what I TRULY love to do and what helps keep me
sane. However, even the tiniest lesson takes an enormous amount of
time since each one requires a photo or scan between each step. Then
a download etc. Each image must be resized, tweaked etc and then put
into a doc file. Then I explain what I did and how I painted or drew
what I did well enough, hopefully, so that you can repeat the
process yourself in your own home.
Most projects are small enough that you can do
them on an 11 x 14 on your lap sitting in your easy chair with good
lighting while watching TV. (Hence the name Arm Chair Paint Classes)
to make it convenient enough to be able to do a small project
anywhere.
However, the two projects I'm currently working on are
much more ambitious, and much larger. They are pencil projects and
will require much more time. As well, they will probably need more
detailed explanations and this will probably force me to put
audio/video files on a CD. These types of lessons can also be
offered as print-out's only as well, but you can also see the reason
for the time-consuming reason behind the long delay in putting up
newer lessons.
So if you are interested in being informed about new
lessons, just
email me. I'll let you know when there is something new. It
might be pen and ink. watercolor, or I might just be letting you
know when I found one of the older lessons that I was able to put
back up online, but I'll keep you informed :) |
